Armed Security Officer - Protection Patrol

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Support a government location as an Armed Patrol Officer. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, courtyards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and local emergency responders when needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM.

Pay

$20.96 / hour.
