Armed Security Officer Patrol Top Secret Clearance Required

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location in San Antonio, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity. This is an armed post requiring an active DoD Top Secret Clearance and Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$26.53 per hour; full-time position.

Schedule

Day shift, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday and Sunday.
