About the role
As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Deployment in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control and badge procedures, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry of personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
