Armed Security Officer - Patrol Operations

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Operations in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This armed role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or armed security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.86 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wednesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
