About the role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, driving post involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, delivering exceptional customer service, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. You can build a flexible schedule and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, perimeter, receiving areas, and other assigned locations to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while remaining prepared to address access concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
  • Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting concerns, and assisting with security-related response procedures when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card / Certification for Texas only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.50 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 07:00 AM - 03:15 PM
  • Tuesday: 07:00 AM - 03:15 PM
  • Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
