Armed Security Officer Part-time Weekend Patrol

About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer Part-time Weekend Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, common areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and coordinate with emergency responders and/or local authorities when needed.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Schedule

Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
