Security Officer Part Time Weekend Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor for security-related concerns, and report observations promptly. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a reliable, caring team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse facilities, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation protocols.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.50 / Hour

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
