Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for potential security‑related concerns, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
