Armed Security Officer - Part Time Patrol Response

As an Armed Security Officer – Part Time Patrol Response in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This position involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to situations professionally, and delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled‑access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Carry authorized equipment and perform assigned duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license as required by Allied Universal driver policy.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
