Armed Security Officer Part Time Guard

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support incident response and operational continuity by assisting with restricted area checks, exterior inspections, and detailed reporting of patrol activities, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
