As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour. Job Schedule: Day Time, Mon 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM.
