Armed Security Officer Elite Mobile Response Driver

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer Elite Mobile Response Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will drive assigned routes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, and vendor activity while maintaining awareness of store operations and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
