As an Armed Security Officer at a resort-style community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to residents and guests. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable laws, procedures, and use-of-force guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of resort grounds, lodging areas, recreational spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, location management, emergency responders, and other authorized personnel.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Schedule: DayTime Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
