Armed Security Officer Orlando Area Part time

About the role

The selected individual will look after the protection of our client's premises, assets, and personnel. They will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions while ensuring access control into the property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rounds and scan different points throughout the property in the housing authority.
• Patrol the community to ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to any criminal activity or disturbances.
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
• Report any suspicious incidents.
• Write detailed reports on all incidents.

Requirements

• Active Armed License.
• Reliable and willing to work every weekend.
• Based in Orlando Area, working in shifts from 9pm to 5am on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position.
• Valid D and G security licenses (both must be active).
• Ability to operate detection systems and emergency equipment.
• Own weapon.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detain orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.

Benefits

• Base Rate: $19.01 per hour.
