As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
Requirements
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
- Schedule: Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
