Armed Security Officer Mobile Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Mobile Response Driver Security Officer in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service at a government corrections location. This role requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and report unauthorized access attempts, policy violations, and observed hazards.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

$21.50 per hour.

• Thursday: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
