Armed Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As an Armed Security Officer – Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls. The position is part‑time and offers schedule flexibility through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or employees while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
• Wednesday: 3:15 PM – 11:30 PM
