• Location: Alpena, MI
• Scope: Protects military bases and critical infrastructure
• Responsibilities: Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, ensure access control, monitor CCTV, patrol buildings and parking lots, monitor fire alarms, customer relations, and respond to emergencies
• Benefits: Paid sick time, hands-on firearm and use of force training, CPL initial licensure and renewal reimbursement
• Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, current valid Concealed Pistol License (CPL), pass a drug screening, and pass a criminal background check
• Compensation: $20.00/hr

Minimum Requirements

• Age: At least 21 years old
• Education: High School Diploma or GED Certification
• CPL: Current, valid Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
• Drug Screening: Pass drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana)
• Felony Convictions: No felony convictions
• Criminal Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Primary Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. Officers will conduct foot and vehicle patrols dependent on the site location. Additional responsibilities may include: Customer Relations, Access Control, Camera Monitoring, Foot Patrol, Mobile Patrol, Monitor Fire Alarms, Respond to Emergency Situations, Maintain Regular Communication with Clients, Follow Through with Client Requests, Keep Operations Managers Updated on Client Communications, Guard Posts, Periodic Foot Patrols, Ensure Unauthorized Persons Do Not Enter Restricted Areas, Ensure Safe and Secure Environment for All Employees and Visitors, Enforce Policies and Procedures for the Site Location, Check for Employee and Vendor Identifications, Look for Suspicious Persons, Packages, and Activities, Respond to Emergency Situations, Maintain Regular Communication with Clients, Follow Through with Client Requests, Keep Operations Managers Updated on Client Communications, Must Follow and Enforce Site Specific Post Guidelines, Other Duties as Assigned.
