Armed Security Officer - Government Building Access Control

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking Armed Security Professionals for a Government Building located in The Bronx. Positions are full-time with flexible schedules available Monday through Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Retired and/or active Law Enforcement within the State of New York
• Valid New York State Firearm permit (unless active Law Enforcement in the State of New York)
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Pay

$33.70 per hour, paid weekly.
