Armed Security Officer - Flex Division

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring an Armed Security Officer - Flex Division position. The role requires a minimum of one year of armed security experience, an active exposed firearm permit, and a state security license with additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings.

Responsibilities

• Conducting post checks of officers under your supervision
• Training new officers
• Making sure you have 100% coverage of your site to ensure there are zero dark posts
• Issue corrective action forms (CAFs)
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have one year of armed security experience
• Must have active exposed firearm permit
• Available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $35 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
