Pay Rate
$28.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns through established channels.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attentive observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
