Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support the protection of sensitive property, equipment, and information in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and assisting with investigations or response efforts as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card and/or License is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or License is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
