Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Driver with Armed Patrol in Marion, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or public officials as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and support screening and visitor control processes in accordance with post orders and government site requirements.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, maintaining professionalism and readiness while supporting security-related operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: DayTime, Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Thur 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
