Armed Security Officer Credential Verification

About the Role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Credential Verification in Balch Springs, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly Financial Institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining professionalism while handling sensitive financial operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and effectively, using appropriate armed response protocols and reporting activity to designated personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and/or badge experience (preferred).
• CPR and/or First Aid certification (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions only).

Qualifications

• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Compliance with state and/or local licensing requirements.
