About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Professional for a City Service Building in Queens. Positions are full-time with flexible availability required (Monday–Sunday) across morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (working environments and conditions may vary by client site).

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Retired and/or active Law Enforcement within the State of New York.
  • Valid New York State Firearm permit (unless active Law Enforcement in New York).
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
  • Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$33.70 per hour, with weekly pay.
