Armored Security Officer - Campus in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence while following armed post responsibilities, reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
• Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Proficiency in maintaining a visible security presence.
• Experience with armed patrols and access control.
