About the role

As an Armed Security Officer – Badge Processing in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and maintain a professional presence to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$26.00 per hour

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
