Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and applicable armed officer procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Access control and badge experience.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet.
  • Customer service experience.

Pay

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Schedule

Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
