Armed Security Officer

About the role

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites to ensure safety and security

• Serve as a physical deterrent

Requirements

• 3–5 Years Of Armed Security Experience Required
• Prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience preferred but not required
• Must have current DCJS Armed certification

Qualifications

• Experience in security, law enforcement or military is a plus
• Full training provided by Securitas

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to perform security duties
• Ability to enforce regulations and directives
