Armed Security Officer
Lafayette Regional Health Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a POST-certified Security Officer to join our team.
About the Role
The Security Officer performs safety and security duties, including protection of persons and property, investigating and documenting incidents, responding to duress or alarms, providing building and campus patrol, assisting with after-hours access, and maintaining department equipment and confidentiality of security and facility information.
Schedule
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Monday – Friday
- Holidays off, no weekends
Requirements
- Must be POST certified and hold a current Police commission
- College-level coursework in police sciences or related fields preferred
- Minimum of one year of security experience or equivalent in law enforcement or Military Police preferred
