Armed Security Officer

About the role

Location: Hattiesburg, MS. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will provide customer‑focused security in office towers, hotels, shopping centers and similar environments, welcoming visitors, verifying identity, guiding guests, managing access control, conducting patrols, inspecting equipment, responding to incidents, providing first aid, coordinating with emergency teams, answering inquiries, and writing incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process

Skills

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Possess a state security license if required
• Must own a weapon (as indicated)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage: $16.28 (unarmed) / $21.54 (armed). DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Set schedule: Tuesday 6 am–2 pm (unarmed) and Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 2 pm–10 pm (armed), totaling 32 hours per week.
