About the role

As a Security Officer at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips, you will play a crucial role in protecting the healing environment and ensuring the safety of both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor facilities and identify potential threats
• Resolve security incidents through thorough investigation and clear documentation
• Lead emergency preparedness efforts by mastering disaster protocols and facilitating drills
• Guide visitors and staff with clear information and a supportive presence
• Maintain mobile safety standards by operating security vehicles responsibly

Requirements

• Drivers License from the Oklahoma Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Security Guard obtained within 120 days of hire date or job transfer date required
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Drivers License, Security Guard
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
