About the Role

As an Armed Security Agent Officer II you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that require an enhanced presence, and personal protective services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions.
• Detect suspicious activities.
• Watch for criminal acts or rule infractions at or near given post which may be a threat to the facility, client, or employees at the site.
• Report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies to the appropriate person.
• Maintain access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems.
• Patrol facility properties with random walking patrols or vehicle and bike patrols, where available.
• Perform safety and equipment inspections.
• Provide customer service and problem-solving.
• Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats; and to alarms, such as fire and intrusion.
• Report unsafe acts and environmental conditions.
• Enforce company and client policies, rules, and regulations.
• Espouse staff and visitors on the client's property.
• Provide other services as specified by the Post Orders.
• Generate incident reports as needed in a clear and concise manner.
• Complete Daily Activity logs in clear and concise language.
• Perform all essential functions inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations.
• Report to work as assigned, and complete shift assignments, including overtime, as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• All necessary certifications as required by State and Local Law
• Veterans
