Armed Security Guard - Shopping Center Part Time

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Schedule

DayTimeSun12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift, with the flexibility to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
