Job Description

As a Armed Security Guard - Patrol Operations in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to developing situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, maintain awareness of restricted areas, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and legal requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
