Armed Security Guard - Hospital

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking an Armed Tactical Security Officer. What matters most in this role is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. A keen sense of observation and strong physical ability are essential, as you will be patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers throughout your shift.

Schedule

• Full-time, 9pm to 5am, Saturday through Tuesday (Woodbury)
• Full-time, 9pm to 5am, Friday (Smithville)
• Full-time, 2pm to 10pm, Thursday through Sunday (Smithville)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $21.00. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Must have Military, or 6 months Law Enforcement, or 6 months Armed Corrections in your employment background
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
