Pay Rate

$20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, substations, operations areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted locations, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
