Armed Security Guard - Brooklyn

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Maintain a highly visible security presence
• Monitor and control access to client properties
• Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity
• Enforce site policies and security procedures
• Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents
• Aid employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism and courtesy
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports

Requirements

• A valid New York State Armed Security License
• A valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit or a valid NYS Yellow Carry Card
• Ability to work assignments in Brooklyn
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
• Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset
• Proven reliability and strong work ethic
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training

$28.00 - 33.00 per hour
$30 - $35.00 per hour for special events
