Armed Security Guard

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring an Armed Tactical Security Officer in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of observation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the assigned location
• Observe, patrol, and survey the area, maintaining a vigilant presence
• Provide timely and accurate reports on activities and incidents
• Respond rapidly in critical situations, making decisive actions to de-escalate or neutralize threats
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards in a professional manner
• Document incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Additional 32hr BSIS security trainings
• Valid armed security license
• Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security and de-escalation
• First aid certification (asset)
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly wage of $27 per hour
• DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees!
• Full-time position with Grave Shift Thursday-Monday / 10:00PM-06:00AM
