About the role

Armed Security Guard responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must qualify for employment by passing additional extensive background checks, psychological evaluation, range qualification, and drug screening
• Valid Colorado driver's license is required for hire
• Have or be eligible for current Peace Officer's Standard Training (POST) Certification; or completion of a state-certified police academy or military police training academy; or job-related knowledge which may be gained by at least two (2) years in law enforcement, or two (2) years education in law enforcement or police science, or at least 3 years experience in other security related field
• CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire

Schedule

• 8 hours/day, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm (Schedule may vary)
• 182 days/year

Pay

Salary range: $26.09 to $34.93 per hour, based on experience and education
