ASPIS Protection Service, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, provides protective services, risk mitigation, and investigative support to businesses and individuals across the region. Our team uses established procedures and modern security practices to safeguard people, property, and information, with a focus on professionalism, situational awareness, and customer service.

This is a full-time, on-site Armed Security Guard position in Manassas, VA.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a visible security presence and patrolling assigned areas
• Monitoring entrances and exits and staffing access control points
• Enforcing site rules and access control procedures
• Responding to suspicious behavior, alarms, and incidents
• Writing incident reports
• Interacting professionally with clients and visitors
• Coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Following all company policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer certification
• Driver's license in good standing
• Ability to stay alert, assess risks, and respond calmly to incidents
• Clear verbal and written communication, including report writing
• Reliability, integrity, and discretion with confidential information
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and meet the physical demands of security and emergency response
• Availability for assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills

• Law enforcement, military, or first responder experience
• Experience in a school, shelter, or healthcare setting
• Virginia Concealed Carry Permit
• Expandable baton training (ASP, MEB, or equivalent)
• OC certification
• Virginia DCJS Patrol Rifle Endorsement
• Training or certification in security operations, defensive tactics, or first aid/CPR

Schedule

Panama, working approximately 15 days a month averaging 84 hours every 2 weeks.

Pay

$44,720 - $55,900 per year depending on experience.
