Armed Security Field Supervisor - County

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring a Field Supervisor - Armed to join the world's leading global security company. This role is based in Los Angeles County, California (DTLA) and offers attractive pay options including DailyPay and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforcing site-specific policies, and providing emergency response when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter
• Assure officers receive appropriate training in developing both technical and professional skills; provide performance management including coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, and recognition
• Utilize scheduling software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effective management
• Listen to and act upon employee grievances with help from appropriate branch or region HR support
• Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Guard Card and Firearm Permit (and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws)
• Clean background and clean driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience (required)
• 2+ years of security supervisory experience within the past 3 years; or military and/or law enforcement experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills with good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties
• Skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner
• Preferred: Law enforcement or military background

$28.41 per hour
