Armed Security Commissioned Law Enforcement

About the role

Commissioned Armed Law enforcement positions in Arlington, TN! Starting Pay $26.00 / Hour Facility Protection Unit Working as Part of Tennessee Highway Patrol Protective Services Division. Must have 5+ years in Security, THE Last 3 of Those Years Must be Armed, OR 3+ years in Military (honorable discharge), OR 3+ years in Law Enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons
• Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

Requirements

• 21 + Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• No Visible Tattoos
• Pass an Extensive Background Check

Qualifications

• (must Have)
• A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
• Able to complete all range qualifications and functions

• An associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
