Armed Level III Security Officer at Transit Center

Job Skills / Requirements

• Hold a valid Texas PSB Level III License (Armed Security Officer)
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of passengers, staff, and facilities through vigilance, communication, and proactive response
• Conduct regular patrols of transit platforms, facilities, and surrounding areas to deter and detect potential threats or unsafe conditions
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and service calls
• Manage access control and enforce safety and security protocols across transit properties
• Maintain clear communication with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary
• Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter criminal activity and promote public confidence
• Conduct safety and security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Auxiliary in implementing procedures that enhance the overall safety and efficiency of transit operations
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and completely
• Support management and client directives to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time (40-hour work week) and part-time positions available
• Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Certification Requirements

• TX PSB Level 3 Armed License
