Job Skills / Requirements

• Hold a valid Texas PSB Level III License (Armed Security Officer)
• Demonstrate reliability, excellent communication skills, and sound judgment

Job Description And Responsibilities

Security Officers will maintain a visible and professional presence in the front lobby to deter potential disruptions, as well as promote a secure environment for visitors.

Security Officers assigned to the Police Administration building will be armed.

Security Officers are to monitor building and keep unauthorized personnel out of the building.

Security Officers are to be responsible for all security related areas around and within the administration building as directed by the Police Department.

Security Officers are to process persons coming into the Police Administration building while working the front information/security desk.

Security Officers may be requested to walk and patrol the perimeter of the building and parking lot area.

Schedule And Environment

• Shifts will be days, evenings, graveyards, weekends, and holidays

Certification Requirements (All)

• TX PSB Level 3 Armed License
