About the role

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and talented workforce. We are currently seeking an experienced Armed Incident Commander to join our team in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for clients and their guests.
  • Enforce regulations, directives, and policies while providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Facilitate collaboration and influence informally across different departments.
  • Track and report on program performance and compliance requirements.
  • Perform security patrols and monitor access points.
  • Respond immediately and safely to emergency situations.
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property.
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients.
  • Attend project meetings to assess security implications of proposed changes.

Requirements

  • Green Security Compliance
  • Eligible for employment within the United States
  • Minimum age of 21 years old per state licensing guidelines
  • Pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Livewithin driving distance or be willing to relocate
  • Current (V)-Department of Criminal Justice (DCJS) guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card
  • Current (V)-Department of Criminal Justice (DCJS) Armed Guard Card or be eligible to qualify for prior to working on site
  • Well maintained firearm (Glock 17 or 19 preferred)
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT) with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Meet Level 2B Limited Access Requirements

Qualifications

  • Security or law enforcement related experience preferred
  • Military background is a plus
  • Report writing experience preferred
  • CPR and First Aid Training is preferred
