About the role
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and talented workforce. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent to join our team in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients, providing physical security of assigned clients at their residence.
- Respond to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch, and reconnaissance.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access points, maintain a log of all activity, screen all incoming mail, conduct security patrols, and permit authorized persons to enter property.
- Ensure client and family safety, safeguard client assets, conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments, and operate in a low-profile, low-footprint capacity.
- Operate motor vehicles safely and legally, maintain up-to-date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest, and comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
- Must have a current guard licensure by the State in which such services are to be performed or eligible to qualify for such licensure.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Must demonstrate competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Must have good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Must have the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to pass the Surefox Executive and Residential Physical Agility Test (ERPAT) with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.
- Must possess a valid and current driver license.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
- Must be able to work autonomously, domestically and internationally.
- Must have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
- Must have strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to legally carry and operate an electronic stun gun device in the state of Nevada.
- Must be fully vaccinated status related to COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by anticipated start date and able to provide proof upon request.
Qualifications
- Security or law enforcement related experience preferred.
- Electronic Stun Gun training preferred.
- Completion of the Surefox Residential Security Officer Training Course (RSOTC) preferred.
- 3+ years of previous residential security experience (or the equivalent certifications) preferred.
- Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) or Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certifications preferred.
- Residential Security Operations Certification (RSOC) preferred.
- Prior attendance of a recognized EP training program preferred.
- Report Writing Experience preferred.
- Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment preferred.
- International experience preferred.
