About the role
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and talented workforce. We are currently seeking an experienced part-time Flex Executive Protection & Residential Security Agent to join our team in the Bay Area or outside of California.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients, providing physical security of assigned clients at their residence, transport, or public events.
- Respond to emergency events, medical and non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, over-watch, and reconnaissance.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access points, maintain a log of all activity, screen incoming mail, conduct security patrols, and permit authorized persons to enter property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and provide assistance to employees and visitors.
- Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments, operate motor vehicles safely, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of local emergency services.
- Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations, assist in various positions, and work security at events as needed.
Requirements
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations with sound judgment.
- Eligible for employment within the United States.
- A current California CCW License.
- Pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
- Live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
- Have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for one.
- Have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Effective communication skills and good judgment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages.
- Possess a valid and current driver license.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with limited notice.
- Operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Security or law enforcement related experience preferred.
- Military background is a plus.
- Report writing experience preferred.
- Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment.
- International experience.

Pay
Base Hourly Rate - $45.00 - $50.00
**This is an armed position - BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit Required**
Certification Required - CA CCW Permit
Schedule
As an armed position, this role requires flexibility and the ability to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and during "high need" periods. Expect to work and support multiple shifts, including Days, Swings, and Graves.
