Qualifications

Lakeland Joint School District is seeking a strong, compassionate, and professional Armed District Safety Specialist who is committed to building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a background in law enforcement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong law enforcement background
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Possession of an Enhanced Concealed Weapons Permit

Employment Requirements

• Prior to employment, selected candidates must successfully complete:
