Arkansas Travel Paramedic (+ per diem)

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments.
• Perform record-keeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
• Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
• Measure vital signs and collect specimens.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided.
• Monitor worker health and manage preventative care on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain readiness for on-site incidents.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week.
• Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts up to 7 days per week.
• Work 8 weeks/1 week rotation – work 8 weeks and rotate home for 1 week.
• Able to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
• Able to climb without difficulty.
• Able to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
• Able to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
• Able to maintain a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
• Pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
• Able to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (ex: construction).

Skills and Experience

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
• Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
• Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
• Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
• Experience as a Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider.

Compensation

Transparency: Based on an hourly rate of $29/hour and an anticipated schedule of 40 regular hours plus approximately 10 overtime hours per week, total compensation is conservatively estimated at approximately $2,400 per week or over $90,000 annually, including overtime and per diem. Actual earnings may vary based on hours worked, experience, qualifications, and project requirements.
